“Over the years I’ve spent a fortune on season tickets, shirts, food and all sorts at BFC, but I’ve now decided enough is enough,” said Morton who has supported the club for more than 25 years.
“Like myself many Pool fans enjoy wearing the shirt, particularly on match days, and I like to see my son in the famous tangerine.
“Therefore I put forward the idea of an alternative shirt which fans could buy, and it was picked up by BST.
“I sourced, designed and I am now selling the shirts off my own back, the response has been fantastic.
“I started with just 70 shirts but since they I’ve made five fresh orders and can’t get them quick enough.
“A new batch is due next week and hopefully more and more people will buy them and support the cause.”
“Matt Smith from BST got in touch around March last year and said they were happy to endorse the kits, so I thought it would be a nice touch to donate the £10.
“Hopefully the money will go to charitable causes and also help BST to build upon the fantastic work they are doing so far.”
